I AM A BIRD

 



Birds can fly whenever they want

They are free to move as they wish

They have time to take care of themselves

They have time to play

They have time to rest

They live in a continuous adventure.

 

Birds are here to teach us how to live

To enjoy every moment

To unfold the wings

To choose our destiny

To fly as far as our heart tell us

To sing when we are happy.

 

Their intelligence is supreme

They put it at the service of life,

they flow with the wind

And express their beauty with each movement

They aren’t slave of a timetable

The wisdom of nature rules their life.

 

Their existence is simple.

Their problems are small.

Their worries imperceptible.

Their tasks are easy.

Their free time is immense

Their friends are many.

 

 

We call us intelligent

But we have sold our freedom for safeness

Our life is comfortable

But we think we can’t choose what to do

We use to be rigid

Our agility is lost.

 

Animals are the best example

Of how to recover our free will

We have to rely

On our ability to rule our life

We have to let our inner wisdom

Govern our behaviour

 

It’s important to put first

What matters most

Our need to decide everyday

Which path we want to walk

Space and time enough

To let our greatness bloom.
